The surreal Iran debate
Substitute hosting at Talking Points Memo, Matt Yglesia has a good post on the ironies and surrealism of chickenhawks who were dead wrong about Iraq leading the charge against a pretty weak, not engaged in a massive arms buildup, Iran. BS needs to be called on this elite conventional wisdom and the paranoia and panic toned down. I and Rolling Stone would also ask how much of this debate a fruition of a several year plan by AIPAC?
