Some Good Rumbles

I'll try to clear some backlog of links up.

Isaac Asimov has the stirring story and all the lyrics to our national anthem.

John Stewart and Stephen Colbert proud of Stephen's "balls-alicious" performance. ADDED - Bush was ready to blow over the skit.

Our Air Force is unfortunately soaring to the right.

Domestic spying, often pretty stupid, is back. Are Vegan activists the Homeland Security threat that some of our Mayberry Maxwell Smarts think they are?

Freaky or stupid? Bush proclaimed yesterday as Loyalty Day.

The Boston Globe reports that Bush has declared he will disobey 750 laws in a move toward "unlimited executive power."

Glenn Greenwald, who has a new book, notes that the media is finally reporting on Bush's contempt for laws and his descent toward "authoritarian lawlessness."

Texas liberals have a new forum - Texas Kos, but some liberals wish to remain anonymous. In Texas, liberals indicate they are ready to rumble:
A bunch of thieves, thugs, and nutcases took over Texas. Then they used it as a stepping stone to Washington, DC. They raided our treasury, stripped our schools and handed it all to their corporate cronies.

Y'all ready to do something about it?
