The NORAD tapes

The Pentagon leadership lied to the 9/11 Commission. The recorded tapes show confusion but not conspiracy, however. The big story missing from these tapes is that the military doesn't go into action until just before the first plane hits. Several things become clear, no agency of government was prepared for hijackings, no planes were shot down by the military or could have been shot down, and during the 9/11 Commission hearings they spun the story to show that they could handle hijackings.
