Media Lies, Bias, and Distortions

I note that Media Matters can barely keep up with the GOP distortion machine in hyperdrive - over 25 instances regarding the Democratic national convention, so far.

One example reported by Columbia School of Journalism Review Campaign Desk - AP's David Espo lies about Heinz Kerry incident in this article.

David Espo: "She told a persistent reporter on Sunday to "shove it" when he urged her to expand on her call for more civility in politics."

Lies:
1. An extremely conservative anti-Heinz Kerry editorial writer.
2. Asked her to explain a comment she made in an earlier speech
3. Who then initially misquoted Heinz Kerry, attributing to her the phrase "un-American activities" rather than the correct "un-American traits."
4. After Heinz Kerry learned his identity and when he continued to ask about it, she instructed him to "shove it."

Still, I think most people if they hear the story will be glad some strong independent woman tells a lying, (he was the source of the false story her foundation is funding anti-American groups), creep to shove it.
