Did Justice fire the attorneys to shut down investigations?

Josh is blogging about the increasing buzz that the attorney firings in the Justice Department were to prevent one of the worst bribery scandals in history from spreading. In fact, were six of the firings meant as cover to remove the California prosecutor? Here is part of the California congressional corruption scandal that needs more investigation. Meanwhile, his TPM Muckrakers are uncovering another breaking sex and corruption scandal at the Interior Department.
