Conservatives Put Faith in Churches and Vote Suppression

The country is turning against Bush and GOP policies. To counter it Republicans are going to a ground game. First, a massive voter registration and education drive conducted through churches, and second serious suppression of the vote efforts. Both target key states but are also being played out across the country.

The church vote campaign target eight states, the voter suppression six. All other states also recieve similar efforts but not as focused or well-funded.

The GOP campaign - skirt the IRS laws and turn churches into recruitment centers and kick people off the ballot in phony fraud prevention initiatives.
