The Washington Post has the brother of the chief author of the Iraq surge plan write about how well the plan is working. Previously the wife of the plan's architect wrote another article extolling the plans virtues and success. Did you catch previously that the architect of this plan has no military experience but is a neo-con history professor? Somehow every neo-con proposal advocates massive increases in defense spending, you would think they are being paid by defense contractors.
Neocons get some powerful friends in politics, business and media. You notice the rush to defend Scooter Libby and an urge for Bush to pardon him now? Libby had previously been described as "The Nexus of Washington’s Neocon Network."
