The Politico: Gossip rag masquerading as news organization?
Glenn Greenwald gets it right in the close ties between the GOP, Drudge and the Washington insider press corp represented by Politico. There is no difference between the blogs and the news organizations except past credibility for the press. Announcing that Edwards was suspending his campaign was just one of a series of mistakes for the fast and GOP-rumor-filled Politico.
