Were Texans Overcharged $700 million by TXU and Reliant this year?
That is the charge of a consumer group at rate hearings. Another group pointed out hundreds of thousands of entertainment expenses utilities were wanting consumers to pick up. Don't count on Perry appointed boards stacked with corporate insiders to get your money back. Consumer issues like this should have been big this election. Chris Bell's consultants didn't highlight them in ads. If you haven't voted this is one reason why to vote.
I wonder how the more corporate friendly Houston Chronicle will carry this? So far nada.
