Accusations that Bush and Olmert planned Lebanon War In May

Major oil analysts aren't the only ones thinking the Lebanon war is a set-up for bigger things to come.
According to Israeli sources, Olmert and Bush agreed at the May 23 summit to make 2006 the year for neutralizing Iran’s nuclear ambitions, while deferring a border settlement with the Palestinians until 2007.

Provoking a wider regional conflict also revived hopes among Bush’s neoconservative advisers that they might yet create a “new Middle East” that would be amenable to U.S. and Israeli desires and interests....

Israeli sources indicate that Bush gave Olmert a green light for the conflict at the May 23 summit. The sources said Bush has even encouraged Israel to expand the war by attacking Syria, although Israeli leaders balked at that recommendation because they lacked an immediate justification.
This is coming from all directions from underground alternative sources - the White House wanted an attack on Syria as well as much more violence going on so that they have a pretext to attack Iran soon after. They got the Lebanese war and escalating violence but Syria hasn't been dragged in, yet. Iraq is getting ready to explode over America's support for Israel, however.

This is reminding me an awful lot like the pre-Iraq invasion phase where I was getting more and more underground info that the invasion had already been decided, they were just doing the media campaign. Last time the American media was clueless and the public was buying into their frames. Same as now.

Question - will we attack Iran in Fall 2006 or Spring 07?
