The Pentagon Preps for Iran

Another excellent, if general, report on the recent status of U.S. military attack plans for Iran. The neocons will strike while Bush is President unless they are assured Iran is not a threat to Israel. Why we would attack Iran for another country is something that should be taken up with elected officials.

Meanwhile a bipartisan coalition in DC is urging direct talks with Iran before the neocons prevail in their push for an attack.

Just because a course of action is foolish, irrational, costly, and bloody doesn’t mean the Bush Administration won’t pursue it.
