Something is going on. Six U.S. armed nuclear-tipped cruise missiles were "accidently" transported to the staging area for the Middle East on a B-52 bomber. It got leaked to the Military Times and officially the Air Force is investigating this mistake.

A huge number of things would have to go wrong with nuclear security procedures for this to happen by "accident." Most things would involve the nuclear cruise missiles being readied.
