Military Excess

United States annual military spending $623 billion.

Rest of the world - $500 billion.

Should we attack all of the rest of the world now or wait until we have a 2-1 superiority?

Why don't we attack China? We have almost a 10-1 superiority.

There is no need for this arms build-up unless you want to attack someone. So who is it?

Or could we just realize this is the big reason we don't have universal health care, don't have better jobs and that the average American's quality of life is going downhill.

An excellent Greenwald post, read it.
The US military budget was almost 29 times as large as the combined spending of the six "rogue" states (Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Sudan and Syria) who spent $14.65 billion.
